The Jesusita and Gap erosion control projects consisted of a project sites that extended beyond 1,000 acres each. Each project received an aerial hydromulch slurry application. The hydromulch application was in response to a wildfire that swept through southern California leaving steep slopes vulnerable to erosion. The slurry application was mixed and loaded into aircraft by WSRI teams.
