Western States Reclamation, Inc. (WSRI) has been in business as a leading environmental contractor and continues to grow and expand its services both horizontally and vertically.WSRI is a very diverse company which currently offers land restoration, revegetation, storm water management, aerial revegetation services, wetlands construction, earthwork services, and landscape/ irrigation construction,. Chenoweth & Associates Environmental Consultants, LLC (C&A) is our consulting sister company. On many occasions C&A and WSRI work together to offer design build services. Our diversity has helped us to grow and stay strong even during poor economic times. We serve city, state and federal government agencies as well as a number of large corporations. Many of our projects are located within high profile areas and often times deal with highly sensitive environmental conditions.

Projects Coordinator

WSRI seeks and individual with previous construction experience to handle contracts administration, prepare RFI’s for on-going projects, execute subcontract agreements, prepare project schedules and updates. Prepare weekly minutes for project progress meetings. Prepare and update project notebooks to keep project managers and superintendents current with project related specifications plans and budget information. Assist estimators with preparation of prequalification information for bid packages. Assist Project Managers in preparation and submission of O&M’s, As-Builts, and shop drawings. This position is responsible for project material purchases. Experience with Timberline Construction Software and Microsoft Project Manager a plus. Prefer Degree in Business, Marketing, or Construction Management. Salary is will be based on experience.


Controller

WSRI seeks an individual to handle monthly financial statements, cash flow projections on through planning and forecasting our steady and continual growth. This position requires good knowledge of job cost accounting and month end Work In Progress report analysis. This position reports directly to the president of the company. Working knowledge of Timberline Construction software or other construction accounting software needed. Minimum educational requirements are a B.S. Degree in Accounting.


Landscape Project Manager or Division Manager

WSRI seeks an individual with 10 plus years of experience in taking projects from estimating stage through construction and project close out. Division Manager is responsible for the supervision, training, and development of project managers and estimators. Ideal candidate will have experience in commercial landscape and irrigation construction, landscape maintenance and site construction. Projects consist of urban parks, athletic fields, schools, highway projects and commercial office buildings. Project size ranges from $20K to $4M with an average of $500K. Also, must have hard dollar bid experience with proven track record of profitable projects. Degree preferred in civil engineering, construction management, landscape architecture or equivalent. Computer literacy is a must. A Division Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel staffing, employee training, quality control, client satisfaction, and profitability of the division. Estimator

WSRI seeks an individual with 3+ years of experience in estimating commercial landscape irrigation, revegetation, and erosion control and site work. Estimating experience in revegetation, erosion control, and wetlands construction a plus. Applicants must be computer literate. WSRI utilizes Bid2Win software and GATCO digitizers for completing project estimates. Must be able to acquire $5M hard dollar bid and negotiated work on an annual basis. Above average salary.


Reclamation Division Operations Manager

This is a newly created position which will work with the Company President and Reclamation Division Manager. Position responsibilities include overseeing employee development and training programs, heavy inter-phase with high level clients requiring assistance with technical issues involving land restoration, revegetation, Storm Water Management and Wetlands Construction on mine sites, oil and gas locations, and other land development projects. Must have experience with a variety of different site conditions including acid bearing, alkaline, and sodic soil conditions, high altitude to desert plant ecosystems. Candidates will periodically be involved in environmental consulting projects along with design build type projects. Requires an individual with outstanding experience and reputation in the field of Land Restoration and Storm Water Management.


Plant Ecologist/Wetland Scientist

WSRI's sister company, Chenoweth & Associates Environmental Consultants, LLC, (C&A) seeks an experienced individual to perform qualitative/quantitative vegetation studies, T&E surveys, wetlands surveys/mitigation plans, and to prepare revegetation and erosion control plans. Must also be willing to assist in supervision and project management of restoration projects. Newly created position to handle growing demand from our clients for design and construction type projects.


Sales/Marketing Director

WSRI seeks individual with sales and marketing experience in the Green Industry including landscape irrigation construction, erosion control and land restoration. Job duties will include existing client care, establishing new clients through cold calls and sales leads, working with estimators in preparing proposals on negotiated work, and follow up on all bids. Also participate in marketing at tradeshows. Some travel will be required through the Western U.S. including remote areas. Newly established position to report to and team directly with the president of the company. Attractive salary and bonus plan to the right individual. Prefer Business Degree or degree in technical field with related marketing experience.

Landscape Superintendent

Must be able to manage landscape projects from $20K to $4M in size. Project scopes include plant material installation, finish grade work, seeding, sodding, decorative rock and boulder installation, subsurface drains, and managing subcontractors installing concrete, asphalt, earthwork, etc. Bilingual applicants given first preference.

Irrigation Superintendent

Must be able to manage irrigation installation projects on urban parks, streetscapes, highway projects, etc. Must have comprehensive knowledge of irrigation systems involving up to 8" mainline, wiring, valves, clocks, remote control systems, etc.

Note: Prefer individuals who are capable of supervising all facets of landscape, irrigation, and site development on commercial projects.

Reclamation Foreman and Heavy Equipment Operators

Must have adequate previous experience with farm equipment or other heavy equipment. WSRI’s equipment fleet includes hydroseeders/hydromulchers, straw mulchers, farm tractors, backhoes, track hoes, and dozers. Individuals without experience on specialized equipment such as hydroseeders/hydromulchers and hay/straw mulchers are trained extensively on this equipment initially. Foreman’s position is a working position the majority of the time and supervises other equipment operators depending on project size and complexity. Req. indiv. that can work in a variety of hands on environments completing unique revegetation & erosion control processes. Knowledge of native grasses, fertilizer products, and erosion control products very helpful. Desire Foreman applicants that have a B.S. degree in Range Management, Agronomy, Forestry, or Soil Science. Periodic travel req.
